Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).
Might also be worth deleting any existing backups from the computer and creating a new backup.

If you want help, you are going to have to be specific about what you have and have not tried. Otherwise, we have no idea if a recommended solution is just going to result in the same response you supplied to vdub above.
However, I did notice that you have indicated that the error you are getting involves a keychain. Are you running a Keychain App? If so, delete it.
If not, then:
Did your issues begin when you downoladed any particular software?
Are you running some sort of Anti Virus Protection?
Have you downloaded IOS 7, by any chance?
I've tried all the support documents online that apple provides
and no I haven't installed any keychain app and I've deleted all apps that I can delete
and I'm running the latest verison of 6.whatever
Its just because the third party programs I've tried to save my messages onto my computer all come up with the error that something is wrong with the keychain and itunes just gives me the error of "an error occured" when it tries to back up but fails at it

Well, then you are not going to be able to save your messages....and if you already did everything that vdub recommended then you must have already deleted your messages and restored them?
Also, you still have not provided what you have tried. "All the support documents online that apple provides" is not specific. It is as generic and uninformative as your initial response to vdub.
Sounds like you may need to simply restore to factory resettings if you have tried absolutely everything....
