    santa --

    1.  Welcome!

    2.  What Operating System are you using.  10.6, 10.7 or 10.8

(iOS is a mobile device OS)

    3.   How long has this been happening?

    4.  Any changes made to your system before this started?

Bee. Hello , I'm the same "santa paula" //

The operating sistem is 10.8 but the techpeople where i sent the imac told me that the problem could be electric over the main board but they are not able to  solved it because the imac is a early 2009 and they didn't have the parts to made probes. They reinstalled the operating system, disconnected all peripherals, etc. the video card and the problem persists

Actually, i'm outside of USA and it's difficult to me send the imac to a apple store in usa so I am using local technical people but you know, the knowledge it's precarious

    Hello Bee,

i just installed the Mac OSX version 10.6.8. I dont know if there was a problem before the install i do know that i installed the same Version on my daughters iMac and she does'nt seem to have any problems with it. Do you think it could be a software issue. I was about to purchase the next operating system "Lion". Any suggestions?

    Thank you

Karizma --  I would first go into to Safari Preferences and go to "Extensions" and make sure there are no extensions turned on.

Then restart Safari.  If it isn't any better, think really hard about what third part apps/plugins that affect your internet service.  Any AV or "security" apps?

It's better to get this cleared up before upgrading your OS, IMHO.  If you can go to Mountain Lion, I would skip Lion, my own self.
