Came home from work today and when I tried to use my Bluetooth wireless keyboard/mouse (Apple) they weren't working. I looked in the menubar and I have a wavy slash through the Bluetooth icon and when clicking on it I get a "Bluetooth: Not Available" method.

I've tried other suggestions like:

- resetting SMC

- deleting com.apple.Bluetooth.plist

- restarting with no periphreals plugged in

- creating a new user (when I do my that account acts like I have no Bluetooth at all)

- repairing permissions

In Console I get this message after starting up:

7/8/13 7:01:57.837 PM System Preferences[352]: [BluetoothHIDDevice][initWithHIDDevice] Unable to get Object ID from IORegistry

Any ideas?
