Last month I purchased the Apple keyboard w/numeric keypad for my MBA (2012). I am running it through one of the USB ports on my Thunderbolt display.

When I sleep the Air, take it home, and then replug the next morning - the Thunderbold display lights right up (and so does the network connection that is being run through the TB), but the keyboard isn't recognized. I have to reboot the Air and unplug/replug the keyboard in order to have it be recognized.

Posts that I have seen about this have been dated, and people say this was resolved in an earlier OS update (I think 10.6?). However, I have 10.8.4 and have only just started having this problem within the past 2 weeks.

Any advice or links that people can point me to?

Thanks all...

MacBook Air, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4), wired keyboard through TB USB port
