Q: How to Adjust Height of Waveforms?

Vertical stretch, not horizontal. I know I've done this before, but I can't find it or find it in help.

Lower left corner of timeline. You can select 4 sizes. Or you can toggle between them using Shift-T. Or you can put your cursor between tracks and drag the height up or down. It's called track height.

Oops, I forgot to say 'in the viewer window.' I'm trying to adjust waveform height there. I can barely see them.

Probably best to enlarge your Viewer window. Drag the handle in the lower right corner of the Viewer window.

You could use Zoom (z key to zoom in and Option-z to zoom out) - but I think that's what you are calling horizontal.

You could also try this - drag the Stereo (a1a2) tab out of the viewer and dock it in the timeline as a separate tab, then adjust track height

Thanks Martin, enlarging the viewer's got it. I often overlook the obvious.

Docking the viewer in the timeline is weird. Interesting too.
