I'm not sure what you already tried, but all you should need to do is authorize your computer for the Apple ID(s) used to purchase the songs in iTunes (Store>Authroize This Computer), then connect your iPod to your computer, open iTunes and go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases.

When I tried authorizing my computer, it said my computer was already authorized. Then I plugged my iPod in and when I opened iTunes and went to File, there was no Devices option to click on.

What version of iTunes do you have? Go to iTunes>Help>About iTunes.
