i have about ten email accounts and for a number of reasons i have had to enter these into my iphone over the years.

i am wondering if it would be possible to alter the software or perhaps create a widget that would let me enter my email ONCE into the prompts instead of having to enter it three times for each account.

there are NINE ! entries required in this setup and if i got the 3 down to 1 i would only have 7 entries for each account.

this would mean that i have to only enter 70 entries instead of 90 which is somewhat significant.

TIA for passing this along or whispering in someone's ear about it or letting me know if there is some magic software way to do this once on my laptop and have it pass through to my iPhone and my desktop....

If you are talking about mail on the Mac, I couldn't tell you since I don't use a Mac. As far as the phone, you do have the option to sync the mail settings from the computer via iTunes. This helps you eliminate everything except the entry of the passwords.

With iTunes on my computer (yes, Windows) and my mail in Outlook. I can select to sync the email account settings to the phone via iTunes. I'm not sure about IMAP or how this would work with mail on the Mac.
