Windows 8 requires 20 GB of storage. However, you should delete files from the MacBook Air or move data to an external drive in order to make more space because OS X won't run correctly if you leave it with 3 GB of free storage

You don't have enough space, and you also have a fragmented disk (the part of the error message you omitted explains how to deal with that)
