Q: How to Sync bookmarks?

How do you sync bookmarks between devices on iCloud or via iTunes? Last night, while in class, I created a couple new bookmarks on my iPad 3gen. When I go to open my MBPro the bookmarks have not made it into my bookmarks bar, in safari. How do I acheive this? Thanks.

    Yes... iCloud is set up.

You know... it's been 2 years now that I've switched to Apple products exclusively and I've yet to be impressed. This "iCloud" is the slowest syncing invention I've ever seen. Just to put this in context... I started this thread because the day after my night class I had new bookmarks that weren't syncing via iCloud. IT TOOK TWO DAYS for the bookmarks to show up in Safari on my MBPro.

This thread can be closed, since I'm confident the issue is iCloud... not my settings, as I've checked everything. I don't know why I put so much faith in iCloud. There are so many parameters that must be met, and so many settings that must be calibrated, for the darn thing to work correctly...

Has been two years, yesterday, since having to deal with Apple products every day. I would never use those exclusively. They are created for "special" individuals, who can buy the slogan "it just works" in new electronic world. Even people who write viruses will agree with me and not write those for Apple. But icloud never failed me, since the moment I knew (really knew) how to use it. It is fast, reliable and effective. For complete and fast bookmarks sync I recommend Google Chrome. It will not interfere with icloud and you will love the fact that you can have your bookmarks everywhere you want, even on any windows computer in your friends house. It just works.

So many settings? Really? Are you sure you're using iCloud?

On all my computers and devices (6+ Macs/PCs/iOS devices) it was:

    1) Sign into iCloud

    2) Turn ON the services I want to use

    That's it...

I back up my devices to my MBPro... Is that the issue?, should I be backing up to iCloud?

For all of you having fast & flawless experiences... Good for you. Future posters please only post suggestions for rectification. I started this thread because it took 2 days for my bookmarks to sync... And all icloud settings have been calibrated since day one. Don't know what else to say other than it just doesn't work for me.

FROMSOUTH... Thanks for the chrome suggestion, and feedback.
