I bought an iphone recently and after 2 weeks it stopped working got it sent away and was told moisture damage but i didnt drop it into water.I already tired the rice trick do you tink apple would send me a replace ?

    If they have already said no, then I think that is it. The warranty does not cover water or accidental damage.

    ya but i didnt drop it into water or it wasnt near water ?

    There is an indicator inside the phone that changes color when it is exposed to water. Pleading your case here isnt going to help. If you think it will help, you should take it up with Apple again. Not sure how much it will help though.

    ya but i havent sent it away to apple yet i sent it to a phone place that fixes them and they told me it was mositure damage and they wouldnt fix it

    If the iPhone was opened by an unauthorized service provider, Apple will never touch it or give any support.

     

    If it was not opened, then Apple will treat it as an out-of-warranty replacement due to the moisture indicator: iPhone 4 is $149, iPhone 4s is $199, and iPhone 5 is $229, in the US.
