Q: Safari history on iPad - I do not want it deleted so fast.

I have the same problem. I share your feeling about the replies as well. I just wanna say that many people do not want to hear any complaints on themselves or the things/persons they like. That's a part of human nature. When you understand this, you should just ignore these blind fans of Apple. These people are just like those parents who spoil their children.
I hope Apple could solve this problem when more and more users complain this. Anyway, many things are not perfect in our life, and sometimes our complaints don't help.

Other users with this issue will appreciate you sent feedback directly to Apple.
The more people that do send feedback, the more likely the issue will get corrected/fixed/updated.

It is possible to stop safari recording history by going to Settings | Safari | Private Browsing. If you don't want a record of a site you visited appearing in your history, turn Private Browsing on before visiting the site.

Mar 9, 2014 5:00 AMby Andrew Verdurin,I suppose it depends on whether you can just use another browser; i.e. switching cost. If yes, it's fair competition and no question of responsibility. For my part, I haven't switched completely from safari because I like to use the bookmarks, which I don't think could be moved to another browser very easily.
