My mid-2011 iMac 27 won't connect to my iPhone 4S' Personal Hotspot either via Bluetooth or via USB. The iMac's iTunes sees the phone fine, and iPhoto launches as soon as it's connected so I know the USB lead is OK. If I try and connect via Bluetooth, the devices pair but at the final hurdle the iPhone declares the iMac as an "unsupported device" and prompts me to forget it.

The i4S and the iMac are fully up to date (iOS6.1.3 and Mountain Lion 10.8.4), and my 2012 MacBook Air (exactly the same software state) connects perfectly to this phone via both Bluetooth and USB, so it's not the phone. I've restarted the iMac without any change in its behaviour.

iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)
