Jul 13, 2013 6:00 PM in response to Marco Antonio Marinhoby Meg The Dog,FCP 7 is no longer supported by Apple.
If you are looking for more recent software, you need to change to FCP-X, Avid, or Premire Pro.
Also - you are not adressing Apple on these forums, just fellow users.

Jul 13, 2013 11:49 PM in response to Meg The Dogby kohanmike,I was very reluctant to move from Final Cut Express HD until a couple of months ago when I talked to the Final Cut expert in my local Apple Store. He convinced me to move to Final Cut Pro X because I would not have all the rendering waits while editing, and he said FCPX is so much more functional.
I finally took his advice, but there is a learning curve. FCPX is entirely different program than previous versions. I realized I had to start from scratch, but it actually didn't take me all that long to get the hang of it, just some patience and perseverance.
