I'd just like to say how much I TOTALLY HATE iTUNES now. What a disaster area.  It takes me so long now to do or work out how to find, organise playlists etc that I just give up and use Spotify.  Well done Apple for completely screwing up one of the best things about having a Mac

Hehe I quite like it now....I'm thick though. However, I think Apple should give us the option of using the older version which was a bit easier....I ADORING MY APPLE EXPERIENCE THOUGH :)

The entire Apple experience boils down to iTunes. It is the gateway amongst our digital lives. To see Apple release a peice of software like this, iTunes, makes me lose a little faith in Apple's ability to sustain their otherwise excellent OS/ecosystem.

    - iTunes 11 is a bloated

    - iTunes 11 is slow

    - iTunes 11 is stubborn

    - iTunes 11 is missing obvious features

    - iTunes 11 is confusing

These points have been reiterated over and over again. If Apple continues to use iTunes as the nexus for mobile/tablet/entertainment/desktop/etc.. they are going to have to pump significantly more resources into iTunes because, at the moment, iTunes feels like a peice of software from Adobe or Microsoft. With Android and Windows making continual gains on iOS and Mac iTunes could be the deal breaker for many of us.

All right, do not crucify me, but I am a Windows user.

The only thing I use from Apple has been the iTunes.  But I have really enjoyed it and it was about time for me to get a new computer and I was considering a Mac.  Now I am not so sure.

This recent change in iTunes has show me things that I really enjoy in Windows that I may not be able to get in a Mac.  An example is the "mouse over" funtion.  I can always hover the mouse over a Windows button and get a brief description of what that funtion does.  In the iTunes I just have to "test it out" to see what it does and even then I am not always sure.

Plus this recent change has totally ruined the iTunes for my kids.  They do not even try to work it anymore.  Which is a shame because they used to sit for hours listening to stories or music on it.

Also Windows almost always give you the option of going to "Classic View". I really hope Apple gives us this option.  I am finding it very hard to organize my music, podcasts or movies.

I REALLY HATE THE NEW iTunes!!!

Oh, I forgot to add I think it is a really good idea if everyone stops buying from iTunes Store until they fix it.  Protest with your wallet!

The new iTunes has fixed a few of my gripes. Took a few minutes to figure and apply some of the new changes. Still miss the good old days with the album flip thing. Their grade has gone from "F" to "C" in my book. Hope they can pull it out.

+1.  Borderline unusable for me, due to the changes in browsing and searching while in a "songs" view.

    I despise it.

Just download to 10.7. I've had to do this twice after accidentally upgrading to 11. (Well, the first time wasn't an accident. As a 27-year Mac user I just assumed iTunes 11 would be good--oh so wrong.)

Go to http://www.macworld.co.uk/ipad-iphone/news/?newsid=3415032&pagtype=allchandate and follow the instructions. AppZapper allows five free uses and Pacifist is shareware which you can use without registering, although if you're going to be using these products for other things you should go ahead and buy them.

Since I downgraded to 10.7 in January I stopped upgrading iOS on iPhone, iPad avoiding sync problem, since I am sure Apple would force me upgrading iTunes to cach up with new iOS-s.

I am more than sure Apple will not support iOS7 with iTunes 10.x, so I will skip iOS7 as well

    Good news.

I am still on 6.0.1 and OK with that

I feel no need to upgrade 6.1.3

Indeed. Also with 6.1.4. I suspect that iOS 7 will require iTunes 11.x, though. Time will tell.

I sure hope iOS 7 and iTunes 10.7 will work together. Although I'm wondering whether I should even upgrade to iOS 7 with an iPhone 4 and an iPad 2. Hopefully iOS 7 memory and processing requirements won't push these two too hard.

Not happy, everything is broken on my Windoze box. iTunes will not pick up the existing library even when selected manually.

It looks like Apple just want to push the store with this new version.  I really don’t have the patience to re-learn iTunes every time it’s updated so it’s time to downgrade and turn off updates. Getting more and more like MickySoft every day. For the first time since iTunes was released I am now looking for alternatives.
