Jul 14, 2013 9:03 PM in response to appleboy131by Jeff,★HelpfulI've tested the Zoom 56K V.92 USB Mini External Data/Fax Modem (Model 3095F) on older Macs with a USB 1.1 port and it performs as well as older, serial port-based 56K modems, like those from US Robotics, Global Village, Zoom, etc. I've tested it with OS 9.x and 10.3.9, so you should have no problem using it with a G5. This modem comes with an installation disk that includes the modem scripts for pre-OS X and OS X. It retails for about $50 and is available at many stores - Best Buy, Staples, Office Depot, WalMart, etc.
