How do you use the shatted theme and place text over a photo?  I have to use a blank text screen.  I did it before, but cant use i now.

Using the "Shattered" Theme the only option to insert text over a photo is the "Add Text Slide" button in the footer.

In the "Classic" and "Ken Burns" theme you can also add automatically the captions or photo titles using the "All Slides" settings. But that will not work for the newer themes.

If you can't get both titles and descriptions with the Classic theme try creating a new slideshow and give it another go"

If that fails as a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library.  Import some photos and test to see if the same problem persists. Does it?
