I'm very confused by an issue with iCloud, which is ironic since Apple's mantra is that it just works.  Anyway, I've been signed up and have been using iCloud since it first became available.  I have just started using the Notes application and want to be able to sync notes.  However, when I turn on Notes syncing, I'm asked to set up an iCloud email account.  That makes no sense, since I already have an Apple ID that I use to access iCloud; why do I need yet another email address just so I can sync notes?  Does anyone either know why this is needed or how to avoid setting up another email account?
