Hi all,

I detected  a few days ago, that my print jobs having problems: An error message is always appearing:

"Network host 'foo-host' is busy; will retry in ..."

I'm using lpd-network connection (lpd://foo-host/) in my printer definition.

It worked for some weeks but suddenly it stopped working with the above mentioned error message.

My research showed that there was a similar problem in year 2008:

I tried all mentioned possible solutions, but nothing worked.

My assumption is that an Apple software update changed s.th. at the printing system, so that error occurs.

There is no problem with the printer, because my Windows laptop is still able to use my network printer the same way.

Any suggestions or same observations?

Mac OS X (10.6.8)
