I can't find any way at all to download my pre-ordered album.

Attempt 1: I went to the album page. The album and every song say "purchased", which makes me unable to press a "download" option.

Attempt 2: I checked for available downloads but came up with nothing.

Attempt 3: I managed my preorders from my account options page. The only option there was to cancel my pre-order (even though the album is already available).

Attempt 4: I viewed my recent purchases, but the album did not show up.

Attempt 5: In a somewhat desperate attempt (though I knew it wouldn't work because of Attempt 4), I turned on the viewing of Cloud items in the library, but once again my pre-order did not make an appearance.

    Hello Minhaz,

It may be best to report an issue with your purchase. The following article outlines how to do so:

How to report an issue with your iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBookstore purchase

    Thanks,

    Try to rebuild the iTunes Library first;

Note: After re-creating your library, any devices that you sync with iTunes (Apple TV, iPod, iPhone, iPad) will see your iTunes library as a new library and will completely resync. The next sync with such a device will take longer and may reset some options since your rebuilt library isn't familiar to the device.

    1. Quit iTunes.

    2. Locate your iTunes folder (this is the folder that contains the iTunes Library and iTunes Library.xml files).

    Mac OS X/Users/[your username]/Music
    Microsoft Windows XP\Documents and Settings\[your username]\My Documents\My Music\
    Microsoft Windows Vista\Users\[your username]\Music\
    Microsoft Windows 7\Users\[your username]\My Music\

    3. Open your iTunes folder.

    4. Drag the "iTunes Library.xml" or "iTunes Music Library.xml" file to the Desktop. If neither is available, learn how to add files back to the Library (because the XML file is not available, playlists and other information will not be available).

    5. Drag the following file from your iTunes folder to the Trash:

Mac OS X"iTunes Library" or "iTunes Library.itl"
    Microsoft Windows"iTunes Library.itl"

    6. Open iTunes.

Important: Do not add any content into iTunes at this point (such as by purchasing something from the iTunes Store).

    7. Choose File > Library > Import Playlist.

    8. Navigate to the "iTunes Library.xml" file on the Desktop.

    • Mac users: Click Choose.
    • Windows users: Click Open.

I found that if you click "Store" on the top of your screen and then under the drop down bar you will see "Authorize your computer" and then you authorize it by typing in your AppleID

After you do that, you can download content that you already purchased.

Go under Albums in your iTunes Library and find that Album and click the tiny clouds to download the content.

Hopefully now that I authorized my computer the music will simply download next time.
