If you have the latest GarageBand version on your mac and iCloud, yes:
iCloud will sync the projects to your Mac, and you find the projects in your User Library in the folder "Mobile Documents": for example
/Users/your short user name/Library/Mobile Documents/F3LWYJ7GM7~com~apple~mobilegarageband/Documents/Curtain Call - Demo.band/
Select the .band file in the Finder and double click it to open. GarageBand will upgrade the project to a Mac version, so you can open it on your mac.

Is your MacOS X compatible with iCloud? You may need to upgrade from Mac OS X (10.7.3)
