Q: resetting permissions
My iMac was completley restored by an Apple person, but I forgto to say that I do not use the typical Adminstrator/User set up. I am the only person on this computer, ever.
Now I find it is impossible to add my previously used applications, or istall the printer, etc... because the Administrator has to do this, and I am the silly user
Can I do some kind of reset ?
Thanks in advance of help from any quarter

Starts up like the first time you buy a new Mac, but after filling in all that info again, you should have access to the computer and the other Users & files will still be there... give the new User a different name than an existing one.
