Welcome to Apple Support Communities
We are users and we don't know if Apple will release an update to fix problems. What problems have you got?

I see lag as a tag for your post. Mavericks is a promising fix for lag. Look here:

Not huge problems, just what most of the Retina MacBook Pro users had to deal with. For example, sometimes Safari gets a little laggy, scrolling lag etc. And rarely mission control gets laggy too. But Apple Support told me not to worry because it is not a hardware issue, but a software issue that Apple is working on and will probably fix with a Mountain Lion update or more likely the new Mavericks. Do you guys have a Retina MacBook Pro? Do you have those issues too?

Thanks for the link! I'm really looking forward for the OS X Mavericks update and I hope it will fix those minor issues
