Sounds like it is an Exchange account. As Templeton suggested, talk to IT. Could be settings, and your account must also be enabled for Exchange Active Sync on the Exchange Admin side.

I contacted the "IT DEPARTMENT", its really a small buisness with no more knowledge than me on whats happening and they gave me the server address but still i am unable to verify.
What would be the easiest way to check if my account is enabled to sync like you stated?

If you Exchange admins can't help by giving you the correct settings then noboby can. It's their server. They set it up. They should be able to answer your questions. Since we don't have access to your server, nobody here can say what settings you need to enter.
