I wish to make a connect edit of an audio clip to a clip in my story line.  I highlighted the clip in the event folder, switched to the timeline, set the playhead at the beginning of the clip in the timeline that I wished to have the audio clip connected and clicked on the Connect button.  The sound clip duly went below the timeline clip.  However, it was not linked to the audio clip, so when I moved the clip in the timeline the audio clip did not move with it.  What am I doing wrong?

Try Opt-Cmd-clicking the audio somewhere in the middle of the video to change the connection point.

Just to say that I've tried and can't reproduce this. The audio clips do connect to the first clip and they remain connected when the clip on the primary storyline is bunped down the line.

Yes that happens with that clip. Not sure why. Only happens when you try to attach to the first frame. Doesn't happen in every clip with every piece of audio, but it does happen there in that lesson.
