Jun 19, 2013 6:50 AM in response to davebatpcrby DSmithCaMA,★HelpfulIt took two trips to the Apple Store, but the fix was simple in the end. The problem is that the Notifications settings override the Sound setting. Under Notification find your email, text, whatever, under in the Notification Center. In there there is another place to set the sounds. This setting overrides the general one set in Sounds.
