After the download gets over, it always gives me an error that it can't install the updates.
What is your GarageBAnd version? Is there any additional information, other "can't install"? What is the exact error message? Is there a crash log?
Are you running the installer from an administrator account? Do you have enough free disk space?
When you open the Console window (the Console.app is in the "Utilities" folder in the Applications folder) and look at all messages, are there any messages from the time that the install failed?

My Mac version 10.8.4
Garageband 11 (6.0.5)
Yeah I have over 250 GB free space. It gives me log 103
And I am logged in via my Apple ID, other programs are downloading/updating on the App store, only garageband shows me error.
In console, I havent come acrosse any Garageband related error.

That does not look like an error message. Theexact banner that appears would be good.
But try the manual install, as described by mteep: Re: GarageBand '11 won't download additional loops
If that does not work, uninstall and trash the preferences, see Dagon's post:
