Q: My phone has gone into recovery mode, but I want to save my pictures before I restore it. What do I do?

I wish I would have known this before-My phone went into recovery mode the other day after I did an update. Apple restored it getting all my information back but my pictures! I lost them all . Although I dont remember seeing the iphone when I plugged into my Windows. The apple associate told me the "might" come back but have not! Stinks..any last ditch advice?

If it went into recovery mode after an update attempt, there was nothing left. The failed update would have wiped everything.

If you have already done a resetore then unfortunalty the pictures are gone, but if there is a next time (hopefully not) then at least you can save your pictures.

Jbobd10 you are trying and you are right about this guy being a d0uche but I tried to save my pictures from my iPad that's in recovery mode but it's not recognizing the iPad in my computer so I can't save my pictures. If you know of any other way to try to save my photos please let me know here or if you can email me @ rich.deleon12@gmail.com I would greatly appreciate it thank you in advance. Or if anyone knows how to save my photos please please let me know I don't want to lose my sons baby pictures.

I'm having the same problem; and the only thing I want are the pictures. But my Windows8 Laptop doesn't recognize it. I got to My Computer and it only shows 'Local Drive' and 'DVD Drive'.
