That cannot be done in iPhoto, Jóse, if you do not want to lose all your albums, projects, and tags.

The best option would be to buy the paid verson of  iPhoto Library Manager to merge the Libraries, or if you have access to aperture, use Aperture. What is your version of iPhoto?

Hi Leonie, thks for yr feedback. I guess I have the last iPhoto version. What would be the more convenient between IPhoto Library Manager & Aperture (if we exclude the app prices...) ?

In Aperture it is very simple to merge libraries -

open one of the libraries in Aperture ( by using iPhoto's command "File > Open Library in Aperture")

and in Aperture use the command "File  Import > Library". The resulting library will still be an iPhoto library with all your edits, tags, captions, .. See: Aperture 3.3: How to use Aperture to merge iPhoto libraries

The paid version of iPhoto Library Manager will allow you to create a merged version of two libraries, see: Fat Cat Software - iPhoto Library Manager Help - Merging libraries

It is a little bit more envolved than simply importing one library into the other, but IPLM is the best add-on to have, if you are happy with iPhoto and have no need to upgrade to Aperture. It will come in handy, if you need to find duplicates or have to repair broken links in the library.

Strictly from a financial aspect if you already have Aperture then that would be the app to use as you wouldn't have to purchase iPhoto Library Manager.

If you don't have Aperture then iPLM might be your best option as it would be less expensive to purchase than Aperture.
