Whenever i charge my ipod touch and hold it, i recieve small electric shocks. this does not feel like static electricity and also, the ipod vibrates. Is this dangerous? Should I get Apple to fix it?

Are you sure it is just not static electricity discharge? When charging the iPod will be grounded when otherwise it is not.

Are connect to a computer or charger?

Also have you tried a different cable?

Id could be the charging source or cable.

If it does it will all sources and cable then

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

You also may want to make the appointment otherwise.

Take it to an Apple Store. This is not normal and could be dangerous. You will get a replacement.
