Q: STP Replacement??

I sure hope that this is not off topic but you guys seem pretty bright and are talking about editing vs. composing so here it goes:

I am a sound designer for film and video (not a musician) I have made a good living using Soundtrack pro and am quite sad that it is no longer. I am now faced with replacing it and all of the reviews are so musician/composer heavy that I really am unsure where to turn for my replacement. I am currently deciding between Logic x (I love apple products), Pro Tools or the new Adobe Audition. Anyway If anyone has any suggestions I sure would appreciate it.

Thanks

Why do you have to leave STP?

If you are running an OSX version where STP is supported, keep on going.

Otherwise, ProTools is the industry standard.

I'm starting to transition over to the the Adobe CC suite but as long as the FCS still runs, it is hard letting go.

Actually I was working on a 5.1 surround project and was having problems with STP and a motu i/o and was told by apple that they no longer support it and that there isn't even a pay per issue of a pro support option.  I think I too will go kicking and screaming into the adobe solution.
