Q: sleep mode
I have a question about my new macbook pro (bought in februari / 13inch i3 with 4GB RAM)
When it gets in sleep mode for a long time, a couple of hours, and I turn is back on it takes a long time to get out of sleep mode. Mostly more than 3 minutes.
First I see the white transparent screen with the progress bar indicating the macbook is getting back up again, but once the white transparent screen disappears the screen freezes for about 3 minutes.
During this time I can’t use the mouse or keyboard. At the end of this period the icons in the topbar disappear and come back again. My WiFi gets connected and then I can finally use the macbook. I almost feel like it takes me shorter to fully restart the macbook then to get it out of sleep mode.
If it is in sleep mode for a short time (1 hour or so) I have no problem and can use the macbook instantly.
I already fixed the Macbook Volume and the write permissions on the hard drive, but that didn’t help.
Does any know how to fix this or know what is wrong?
MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)
