Q: what cant i re-download my garage band purchases.

i have reinstalled my macbook pro with mac osx as i wanted to freshing things up. i wanted to redownload all my software. ipurchased 5 piano lessons on garage band. i can find my purchases but there is no download button on www.apple.com/uk/ i logged in and see them but there is no redownload button HELP!!!!!!

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

Do you have a backup of your mac from the time before the reinstall? Then restore the artist lessons from there:

The download of Artist lessons from the store has always been problematic.

i saved my artist lesson from

/Library/Application Support/GarageBand/Learn to Play/

and put them back once i reloaded thats your advice to the other person helped
