How to take just 1 photo, not a video, w my iPod?  I just tried taking a single photo, but it turns out to be a Video, with audio. I don't want a video. I just want to take a photograph.

I would be content if someone could just direct me, at least, to where in the instructions it explains how to do this to a beginner?

I'm guessing I may be able to select one of the many frames of the video, since i see a whole bunch of frames at the top of the screen after i have hit "Photos" and selected what i thot was a photo, but is a video.

I thot this would be easy and intuitive.  And i thot it would be easy to find basic instructions on how to just take a photo.   But as usual I have to turn to you to ask an elementary question.

I recently bot new this old iPod, Version 6.1.3 (10B329)  ,  Model ME179LL/A ;    16GB

iPod touch, iOS 6.1.3, white, 16GB
