Q: how long does migration assistant take to inspect the computer

How long should migration assisstant take? It says inspecting your computer and it has now said that for 15 mins. Is it stuck?

Mac Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

If you mean it's been fifteen minutes and nothing has happened then most likely it's stuck. What are you migrating from and to?
