Q: Why is the Apple Mac Developer portal down, and for how long?

I cannot access the Mac Developer resources this morning.

With a company as advannced as Apple, I would expect them to be able to roll out web updates

seamlessly.

I don't like being out in the cold.

I want to download the Mavericks Beta.

So seems like Apple iOS Dev is still closed...  I can't get to my Certifcate, identifiers page, it just transfer me to "Apple Developer Update" page. :/

Anyone know when will it back online? My client is being frustrated for a week already, all I want to update my Apple ID to generate my developement Cer for the iPad App... What can I do alternatively beside wait and pulling my hair off.

Come on apple, have another server ready to spin up when one goes down, its no excuse for downtime this long.

I guess as developers Apple already got our money when we signed up, so we arent high up on their list. Good thing Apple has systems in place for disaster recovery and failover NOT!

How does a company as large as Apple go offline for almost two weeks. Is it incompetence or arrogance? Either way its Crap-ple.

    Hey man.

We have the EXACT problem. I too cannot access the certificates to get a simple development certificate from apple.

The problem is because neither of us have been able to log on right before their site got hacked. Because a week before they were hacked, they placed an "updated license agreement" which everyone must agree to before getting access to anywhere on their site.

Those of us who have yet to do so, will have to agree to it before accessing certificates. But low and behold, the "updated license page" is still offline!

Only God knows when this roller coaster will be over for us. I have simply stopped being outraged as it has gone on to be TOO RIDICULOUS.

Do you know... that apple chose to restore VIDEOS first before the updated license agreement???? V-I-D-E-O-S.

They have no clue what "priority" means.

I believe we will have to wait until 100% of their site is restored. Because it seems they will bring this critical "license agreement" page up last. And that could take 1-2 months from now considering apple's turtle pace.

I no longer have any hair left to pull, i've pulled them all already.

Those of us who did not log on a week before the hack has this problem.

Because they asked EVERYONE to agree to this new license agreement from june 25, 2013 or something like that.

The service is completely restored for those who have already agreed to this agreeemnt. But for those yet to, we're in luck as we cannot access anything on the apple website until they re-upload this stupid license agreement.

Be prepared to wait another 4 weeks.

Apple is transforming their website into this super-human entitiy than not even God can hack. And they are taking their time in doing it.

Unfortunately for us 2013 members, we will have to pay for their decision because they are designing a new site that can last until the year 4,000.

I personally believe apple will be back online near december.

    Hi guys!

I'm think that Apple team is don't know about this issue. They think that it works, but the issue go on. Because approve the agreement was only in the member center.

    All to bugreport!
