I received this email:

As a thank you for being a former MobileMe member, you received a 20 GB complimentary storage upgrade when you moved to iCloud.

Your upgrade expires on September 30, 2013.

When it expires, your iCloud storage will be automatically adjusted to the free 5 GB plan. You are currently using 144.56 KB of storage.

I wonder if this is really from Apple, as my storage described is quite inaccurate.

Did someone receive such a medssage?

Yes, it is from Apple. All former MobileMe customers have been recieving the same (but personalised) email over the last 24 hours.

There have been numerous posts about the email, and from people asking questions or moaning about the storage adjustment.
