When you set up the Yahoo account, is it set up as POP or IMAP. I don't use it so I'm not sure. If it is an IMAP account, then I can understand being able to see the same thing on the phone as the computer. One other thing, how many days do you have it set to sync? I know that is a setting for my Exchange account, is that the same for IMAP. If so, is the mail older than what you have configured? When you recreated the account, did it complete the verification process?

What error are you receiving when you try to get your mail?

Do you have it set to push, or fetch, and if you open the mail app, what happens? There must be some type of error or something. Of course, Yahoo mail is famous for server errors and goes down and up many times.

When you do this, there is new mail in your inbox?

No, what I mean is do you have new mail on the server so your phone would find it when it went to check mail?

When you go into Settings> Mail, Contacts, Calendars>and click on the Yahoo account, does it say that it is POP or IMAP just under the account name?

I'm having the same problem, fayedimdore. Several others I know are also experiencing this same issue with Yahoo mail not showing up on their Apple devices. I have tried everything I can do on my end and it is still not working. Unfortunately, I think it is on Yahoo to fix it and we just have to wait it out.
