Q: It tells me that the last back up could not be completed.  Could you tell me what could be the problem?

I have tried to back up my phone to icloud and it tells me that it is incomplete.  Do you know what the problem could be?

To be honest, to my experience it is ALWAYS the network. Usually it is good enough to get people on any fast and free wifi and it works. To get a little more info on the particular message that you get, you may find better info in that Apple article.

Thing to keep in mind is that iphone backups are usually large, and upload speed of your ISP is normally 5 to 10 times slower then download. Even if you have cable - first backup may take overnight, plus ISP may notice unusually high data upload and block it.(not intentionally, but they have software to do that). In some cases I was told that is causes by corrupted files inside of one of the apps, but I do not subscribe to that theory. If that is the case you need to use that article to disable all "extra" backup options. And then by few items re enable it.
