Q: Need new video card for MacPro?
CS6 Photoshop gives vRAM error stating I don't have minimum of 512mb to run the 3D features, it suggests updating the driver the graphics card. I have an older Mac Pro 2 x 2 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon - NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT 256 MB and everything seems to be up to date. I looked to the NVIDIA site to manually download and install the drivers, there isn't anything on their site for Mac. Has anyone run into this issue? Do I need a new video card? And if so which one? I'm a designer so my computer is mainly used for the CS6 Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Thanks
Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Thanks again. I'm going to replace the Video Card first with the ATI Radeon 5770. I saw that this card is compatble with the 2010 models, and my machine is from 08. I did more searching and found many people that say this replacement worked great on the older the '10 models. As for the memory and hard drives slots are maxed out...still continplating the additional $$ to update the other items you noted. My feeling is to hold off for another year and save up for a new machine.
