Sorry, but I'm having a little trouble understanding exactly what problem you are having with calendar.app.

Is calendar syncing enabled on your iPad and iPhone?

    Same here...it is infuriating.

No matter what I have done across iCloud, my desktop, iPhoine, iPad etc...I STILL get this **** pop up window on desktop.

ALl I can do is drag it into the corner of the screen and "hide" it.

Ditto.   My wife's computer connected to the same iCloud isn't getting this problem.   But when I turn on my computer, that window is displaying for hours and hours.

This same bug infuriates me because it slows down my startup A LOT.

    Here is my situation:

    I use no cloud whatsoever.

In Calendar 6.0 preferences I have NO accounts listed.

My brand new MacBook Pro is running OS 10.8.5.

I have the Calendar app as a login item, since I use it so much.

I do synch the calendar with my phone and pad once in a while, though I haven't noticed a problem with that. Synching accomplished with itunes and a cable.

    Please send a solution FAST!

    -Elaine
