Q: I have removed a number of pictures from the book. Now how do I delete the blank pages?

I am putting together a small booklet about a recent event. The Book set-up automatically arranged the pictures, but that was not what I wanted. I deleted over half of the pictures. I had wanted them in the picture tray so I could sample them on the various pages and choose which ones I wanted to use. Now I have an 84 page book, with only 36 pages of formated page lay-outs.

I can find no "Delete Page" button. There is an "Add Page" button. But how can I delete any unused blank pages? My Book End Page is at the end. I don't mind dropping it and then add another page at the end if there is no way to designate a range of pages to be removed. Right now I'd be happy if I can just take them out one by one.

To delete a page from a photo book:

Books require an even number of pages. If deleting a page creates an odd number of pages, iPhoto automatically adds a blank page to or deletes a blank page from your book to keep the page count at an even number.

    1. Open the book project. The book pages appear in All Pages view.
    2. Press the Control key while you click the page that you want to delete, and then choose Remove Page from the shortcut menu.

Note:   You can also delete a page while viewing a page spread.

A message appears asking if you want to delete the page.
    3. Click Yes.
