"/usr/sbin/networksetup -detectnewhardware"
Which means to detect all hardwares related with networks, both wired and wireless.

Open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > Terminal
Careful though, with Terminal. You need to know exactly what you are doing before doing anything.
