I tried a new account and the same thing is happening.
Is there a way of downloading an older version of fxpx?

Not by downloading. If you saved a BU version – having either followed the steps in this document or the restore feature of either Time Machine or some other BU utility – you could, of course, roll back to an earlier version. The problem is any projects you have updated in the interim would not open.
I've just reviewed your thread from the beginning. Two questions:1) have you tried deleting project render files and turning off BG Rendering? 2) Does this occur with any project; have you tried a new project with completely different media as a test of pasting attributes?

Aug 7, 2013 5:36 AM in response to Russ Hby lindsey-s,Hi,
The paste attribute box just came up. I tried a 2nd time and it didnt come up.
I then turned off background rendering and deleted render files, still not working.
I tried a new project with different media and it works fine there. So does this mean there is a problem somewhere in the events or project files?

Aug 7, 2013 5:46 AM in response to lindsey-sby Russ H,Just a guess…possibly a bad render file. What kind of meda are in the project? Unusual formats, sources or graphics? Anything diferent from your typical project?
