May 25, 2013 4:05 AM in response to Iamawesome997by LowLuster,Then you aren't pushing the headphone jack in far enough, the headphones are faulty or your system has a faulty headphone jack. Remove and reinsert it a few times to see if that helps. Make sure it is pushed all the way in.

Go to Applications > Utilities > Audio MIDI Setup
Volumes on the speaker may be off. One of my channels was turned way down and was giving me a mono effect. Up the volume on the slider to even them out. You can also change the settings if they are off. I think the default is 44100.0 Hz and 2ch-16bit. Hope that helps.

Make sure that the balance on the Headphone jack is set correctly.

Stereo was.
