The effects you are seeing do not come from an app, no matter what you think you have been told. They are the result of lens glare and obstruction. Pretty much anyone but you would consider them to be undesirable

I have seen some apps that have filters that imitate lens flare and light leaks. The resulting pictures look much like these. I've never understood the aesthetic, either.

Yes there are - Photoshop does this. But the use of such effects, when applied properly, can be very aesthetically pleasing. That is NOT what is going on in the images posted here: these are not intentional effects.

    Yes they are.

How would you know?? You admitted you don't communicate with this "famous" person and have no way of knowing how her photos were made.

I told you it's an app....

In fact, you have no way of knowing how the photos were made, not even that they were taken on an iPhone.  At best, this is pure uninformed speculation and possibly deliberate fabrication.

If you think it isn't then don't write here.

Classic troll tactic.  You have absolutley no say who posts in this forum, or what is said.

I do know the answer, which was given to  you already.  The "purple glare" is a well known artifact of the iPhone 5 lens that shows up in many, if not most backlit photos. It's easy to recreate at will.

THERE IS NO IOS APP THAT DOES THIS.

Purple lens flair occurs with the iPhone 4 and virually all cameras, to less extent than the iPhone 5.  This does not prove anything.

Since you are "convinced", and no rational discussion can sway you, I suggest start holding your breath now for someone to reveal this deep secret app that many 1000's are using, yet a mystery to you.  You might also want to be holding onto DNR form.

It IS an app. The SAME EXACT purple light flare is on many of this girl's photos. There are a lot of apps you can use to put light leaks on photos like Afterlight and Snapseed, but I have not found the one that does the purple one.
