Do you see an error message when the iPhone tries to join the Wi-Fi network? Does the iPhone have a valid IP address?
Try taking a look at this Apple doc -> iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections

No error messages. I will try the trouble shooting link. Thanks.

Were you ever able to get your phone to work? I have never experienced a problem until now and I have tried everything I have read on the internet and it still won't work.

I am having the same issue! I have gone through all of the troubleshooting and nothing works. Phone continually tries to connect to my network but doesn't connect at all.

This was a while ago, but I think I went to settings, general, reset, then chose reset network settings. That seemed to work.

My iPhone 4 wouldn't stay connected to my wifi, so I thought if I "forgot this network" it would work again but it just made it worse. When I tried to put the password in to the wifi it told me "unable to join this network" -_- the next day I was trying everything to get my wifi back on, so then I went to setting & noticed that my Bluetooth was on so I cut it off & BOOM lol it started working again. Hope this helps.
