Aug 14, 2013 7:32 AM in response to judyp3by CAakerman,The same happened to me. Only one of the calendars I have did this, the one I named 'Spare time' it changed from green to blue on both my Mac and my iPhone. I've changed it back 10 times today already and when I open up my calendar again, it changes to blue.

Aug 14, 2013 8:12 AM in response to CAakermanby judyp3,I tried quitting and relaunching ical and restarting my computer with no luck. Then, I just noticed that one of my calendars is the original color again but the others are still different. Also, the colors in the little menu under "calendars" are different from what actually shows on the calendar. Odd.

Aug 14, 2013 9:49 AM in response to judyp3by theabadabam,I am having the same problems with nothing I do working. I have unsynced my one subscribed calendar and reset it up, and now colors are changing multiple times a min it seems like.

Aug 14, 2013 10:00 AM in response to judyp3by theabadabam,It did it a little bit a week or so ago, but when I changed the colors back, they stuck. Today is when it has gotten ridiculous.

Aug 14, 2013 10:12 AM in response to judyp3by trobert225,This just started happening for me today as well. One of my four calendars changed from green to purple. I changed the color back both on my computer an on iCloud, but it keeps changing back. After changing the color back on iCal, all the colors on my computer calendar are now lighter in color (and the one calendar is once again purple instead of green). I don't know that much about computers, but this seems awfully coincidental. I wonder if there's a problem in an iCloud server.

Aug 14, 2013 11:50 AM in response to judyp3by what5150,I though mine was also till I made a new appointment.....

Aug 14, 2013 11:55 AM in response to what5150by judyp3,Ok - my blue calendar is now back to purple. All I did was open ical again.
The other thread had some seemingly good work-arounds. I don't keep a lot of different calendars so I probably won't take the time to fix it but they look like good options for those who do need to keep them separate.

Aug 14, 2013 12:21 PM in response to judyp3by clkfromleessummit,Same issue with me as well. I have not had this issue every until this morning. I have several calendars as well that sync and only two of them continue to not hold their original colors. Very odd. I do hope it gets resolved soon. At the moment it doesn't appear to have any of my dates messed up at least.

Aug 14, 2013 1:18 PM in response to judyp3by Sara547,I'm having the same issue - diffrent calendar chaning to purple. When I first closed iCal it wouldn't reopen and I had to reboot, then the issue reoccured when I entered a new appointment. None of the fixes mentioned in this thread or other hold - the pruple comes back every time, and even after changing the colors back and closing the program. I'm going to quit changing the colors back for now and hope Apple fixes this bug soon. It's getting annoying!

Aug 14, 2013 1:42 PM in response to judyp3by iPod 60Gb Black,I've come over from the other thread mentioned above. I think someone at Apple must be colourblind; since this morning blue, red and purple seem to be interchangeable. But only on my 'work' and 'home' calendars, the other calendars keep their colours. Each time I refresh the 2 calendars change colour, the 3 attached photos are from 3 consecutive refreshes with no other change to the calendars.
Come on Apple! Sort it out!

Aug 14, 2013 1:56 PM in response to judyp3by jsiess11,I posted this to another thread and thought I should maybe do it here too just for more backup. I'm having the exact same problem. I have no clever fix, but I can confirm that 2 of my many calendars are doing the same thing. The others are fine, but the one I keep for my husband's travel should be MOCHA (from crayon color palette) but it keeps changing to PURPLE (default color). The one I have for my own appointments should be EGGPLANT (from crayon color palette) but keeps changing to BLUE (default color). My other calendars are fine like I said and use colors from the crayon color palette so I'm guessing that's not the issue.
