Q: Calendar colors keep changing automatically

Started happening for me a couple of days ago on MacBook/iPad/iPhone. Its now become a fun game to play: what colour are my appointments now?

Aug 15, 2013 1:09 AMby Biochemist,Same problem, and also my work (green) calendar changing to purple, whether I change the order of the calendar so that work is no longer the first, whether I change it on iCloud or on my mac, whether I change it to a different shade of green, sooner or later (and sometimes almost immediately, it switches back to purple). I actually watched the colors change in front of my eyes the first time it happened, I switched to September and all of a sudden my calendar was like scarlet fever
Given everyone here is facing an almost identical issue and it happened yesterday to everyone it really sounds to me like something was done at the iCloud end, but unforunately, other than that, I have no insight.
At least I know now that I am not going mad :-)
Incidentally (or not?) I have the application Blotter and the colors on that change too

Aug 15, 2013 7:42 AMby h23li,Same problem here. The problem started on Aug 14, 2013. Most likely an Apple employee introduced the bug while working on something else. Keeps changing my default color to blue and purple. It happens on the Mac, iPhone, iPad. Very annoying. But if you quit the calendar and restart a few times, the color might change back to the original.
