Q: can i transfer leopard from my macbook without a disc to my Imac g5

I have purchased Snow Leopard to update my Macbook, but wonder can I transfer Leopard from my Macbook to my Imac G5?

The macbook came with Leopard installed so I dont have the disc.

    No. The version of Leopard on your MacBook is for an Intel Mac, not a PPC Mac. And, you cannot install Snow Leopard on your PPC Mac.

     

    Your MacBook, if it came with Leopard pre-installed, came with installer discs unless you might have purchased it used.

     

    To install Leopard on your G5 would require you to find a retail copy of Leopard. Search eBay, Amazon, and Google for such. Apple no longer sells it.
