I have had a @mac.com email address for the past 7 or so years.  I believe that my user name can also now use email addresses ending @me.com and @icloud.com and that these are specific to me only.  Is that correct?

In the past few days I have received two emails - one to my username@icloud.com which was not intended for me and also one from the USA to my username@me.com which was supposedly an e-receipt.

Does anyone have any ideas on this?  Thanks.

Your iCloud email address are specific to you and not assigned to anyone else.  You can check which ones are associated with your iCloud account by going to icloud.com, opening Mail, clicking on the gear-shaped icon on the top right and choosing Preferences, then clicking on Accounts and checking the Email Addresses listed there.

Don't know anything about the emails you may have received though.
